Trident Engineering Plastics produces compression-molded and extruded stock shapes for machining, made from the highest quality thermoplastic resins available.
Our compression-molded sheets save time and money by reducing fabrication steps required with some extruded products. Offering the lowest internal stress found in the industry, compression molded sheet may eliminate the need to machine equal amounts per side to prevent bowing or perform pre or post annealing to reduce stress. The wide variety of compression-molded sheet sizes that can be produced with short lead times can also eliminate waste. Our compression-molded sheets are available in sizes of 24”x48”, 30”x60”, 48”x96”, 48”x120”, 60”x120” and 72”x144” in thicknesses from .250” up to 6.00”. Massive shapes are available up to 12.00” thick in some materials.
Our extruded shapes are annealed to reduce the internal stress produced in the extrusion process. Extruded sheets are stocked in gauges from .030” up to 6.00” thick in 24” and 48” widths. Extruded rod and tube are available from stock up to 14.00” diameter and can be made up to 18.00” diameter on request.
Our Bristol Pennsylvania cutting facility specializes in supplying machinists and fabricators with the highest quality stock shapes in the Industry. We operate three CNC panel saws capable of cutting sheets up to 4.00” thick and 150” in length and width. Our vertical and horizontal band saws are capable of cutting massive slabs and large diameter rod up to 12” thick. Most of the materials listed on our materials page be produced within two weeks if they are not already in stock. Stock orders can ship same or next day while cut to size orders are shipped within 2 days.
