Trizod™ Polycarbonate is a transparent amorphous thermoplastic with excellent dimensional stability and good strength and stiffness over a wide range of temperatures. Polycarbonate offers very high impact strength, high modulus of elasticity and a 270ºF (132ºC) heat deflection temperature at 264 psi. These properties, in addition to good electrical characteristics, make Machine Grade Polycarbonate shapes an excellent choice for electrical applications. Its strength, impact resistance and transparency also make it an ideal material for certain transparent structural applications such as sight glasses and windows.
Trizod™ OP - Optical Grade Polycarbonate is made using a proprietary grade of uv-stabilized ultra-clean polycarbonate resin. Trizod™ OP has an optically clear press polish finish protected by a heavy-duty adhesive polyethylene film masking. Trizod™ OP is UV-stabilized and meets the requirements of
ASTM D3935 PC0136. Available in clear and some transparent colors.
Trizod™ MG - Machine Grade Polycarbonate is made from high impact engineering grade polycarbonate resin and comes with a matte-finish which is not optically clear. This grade does not come with a protective film masking. Available in Natural, Black, White and custom colors.
Trizod™ GR20 - 20% Glass-reinforced Polycarbonate is available in Natural and Black.
Trizod™ GR30 - 30% Glass-reinforced Polycarbonate is available in Natural and Black.
